My Journey · The Story Behind the Name
Seventh Rise:
The Story Behind the Name
Seven falls. One more rise. A journey of becoming whole.
This is the story of why I do what I do, the experiences that shaped me, and the deeply personal meaning behind Seventh Rise.
Read My Story ↓01 · The Beginning
A Name Born from a Promise
Seventh Rise was never just a business name to me. It was born from a promise I needed to believe in during one of the most difficult chapters of my life: No matter how many times life knocks you down, you can rise again.
The inspiration came from Proverbs 24:16, which speaks of the righteous falling seven times and rising again. To me, the seventh rise represented something extraordinary. Even after seven falls, there could still be an eighth beginning. Another opportunity. Another chapter. Another chance to become who you were always meant to be.
At the time, I had no idea how deeply those words would come to define my own life.
02 · Resilience
The Woman Who Kept Rising
For many years, I lived in circumstances that gradually disconnected me from myself. I became exceptionally good at being the strong one, the accommodating one, the woman who could carry enormous responsibilities while quietly sacrificing her own needs.
I believed that being loving meant being agreeable. That being good meant putting myself last. That keeping the peace was more important than having a voice. For a long time, those patterns helped me survive.
But survival and wholeness are not the same thing.
After years of marriage, raising children, and navigating experiences that tested nearly every part of me, I eventually reached a turning point. I began choosing a different life.
03 · Release
Cycles of Seven
I left my marriage in 2021. My divorce became final in 2024. And in 2026, twenty-one years after my marriage began, I found myself building the professional future I had once barely dared to imagine.
Three cycles of seven years.
The symbolism of that timing is deeply meaningful to me, particularly because the biblical tradition also connects the seventh year with release and freedom. I hadn't planned my life around those numbers. I only recognized the pattern afterward.
And there was another deeply personal connection. I had seven children during my marriage. My eighth child arrived during the new chapter of my life, after I had left and begun again.
The number eight, which I had always associated with the new beginning after the seventh rise, had become part of my story in a way I never anticipated.
“Yes, you are a healer, but not in the way you think you are.”
04 · The Vision
A Vision I Carried for Years
Long before I became a certified health coach or began studying vocal bioresonance, I had an extraordinarily vivid dream.
In it, I was helping a woman in labor during a time of great hardship. There were no medical practitioners available, and she was struggling to deliver twins. One baby was positioned sideways, preventing either child from being born.
In the dream, I somehow knew what to do. I reached through the physical boundary of her abdomen, not with a medical instrument, but in a way that felt entirely energetic. With my hands, I gently repositioned the babies.
What struck me was that the baby trapped behind the obstruction was actually the one who needed to emerge first. Once the babies were properly positioned, the first was born, and the second followed. Both were healthy. The mother was healthy.
The experience felt so real that waking from it was disorienting. And I carried a spiritual message from that experience that stayed with me for years: “Yes, you are a healer, but not in the way you think you are.”
At the time, I believed my calling would center on nutrition. I couldn't have imagined where my journey would eventually lead.
05 · Integration
The Warrior and the Gentle Heart
Years later, I began to recognize another possible meaning within that dream. What if the two babies represented two parts of myself?
One was the gentle, compassionate woman who had learned to protect herself by pleasing others, avoiding conflict, and putting everyone else's needs before her own. The other was the warrior: the woman who could say no, recognize her own worth, establish boundaries, trust her intelligence, and refuse to abandon herself to earn another person's approval.
For much of my life, I had allowed the people-pleasing part of myself to lead. My warrior was there, but she was trapped behind the belief that I had to be endlessly accommodating to be worthy of love.
I eventually realized that I didn't need to destroy my softness to become strong. I needed to change which part of me was leading.
The warrior needed to come first, not to silence the gentle woman, but to protect her. Once I learned to establish boundaries and honor my own worth, my compassion no longer had to come at the expense of myself. Both parts of me could finally have room to grow.
That interpretation doesn't have to be the only meaning of my dream. But it has become one of the most powerful expressions of my personal journey. I wasn't becoming someone else. I was becoming whole.
06 · The Calling
From Transformation to Frequency Wellness
When I first chose the name Seventh Rise, I was studying transformational health and nutrition coaching. I imagined helping people who felt they had reached the end of their rope, people who had tried everything they knew and needed encouragement to give themselves one more chance. That mission still lives at the heart of my work.
But my professional path began to evolve. I continued my education, earned my board certification as an Exponential Health Coach, and trained in vocal bioresonance.
Initially, I thought frequency-based wellness would simply be another modality I could offer alongside coaching. I didn't immediately understand how I wanted to use it. For a time, I set it aside while concentrating on the direction I had originally envisioned.
But as I gained more understanding and experience, something changed. I became increasingly fascinated by patterns, frequencies, resonance, and the possibility of creating deeply personalized wellness experiences. I discovered how much I loved the process of listening, analyzing, interpreting, and bringing different pieces of information together.
Today, I am building Seventh Rise around personalized frequency wellness, supported by the knowledge and perspective I've gained through my coaching education. My work brings together vocal bioresonance technology, individualized interpretation, and customized frequency playlists intended to support a personal experience of balance and harmony.
It is work I approach with curiosity, care, discernment, and deep respect for each person's individual journey.
07 · Resonance
The Deeper Meaning of Seven
As my interest in frequency wellness grew, I discovered another layer of symbolism surrounding the number seven.
In contemporary sound-healing and spiritual traditions, 963 Hz is often associated with the seventh or CROWN chakra, refered to as the frequency of the "seventh dimention or seventh rise" and themes of higher awareness, spiritual connection, and awakening. In esoteric and numerology frameworks the frequency of seven represents the culmination of a cycle, a bridge between material and spiritual understanding, and a point of transformation. The symbolism resonated with me immediately.
Here was a business I had named years before I imagined becoming a frequency practitioner, and the number at its heart also carried meaning within the spiritual traditions I was now exploring.
I hadn't chosen the name because of frequencies. I hadn't planned the progression of my education around it. And I certainly hadn't anticipated how closely the original meaning of Seventh Rise would come to reflect my own transformation. Yet the connections kept appearing.
For me, they became a deeply personal expression of alignment, a reminder that the different chapters of my life didn't have to be disconnected stories. They could belong to one unfolding journey.
08 · Recognition
Becoming Whole
For nearly a decade, my personal email address has carried three simple words: I'm becoming whole. I chose those words long before I understood how meaningful they would become.
And recently, while working on my website, I experienced a moment that brought so much of this journey together. I was reading the section introducing myself as a practitioner and looking at my photograph. For a brief moment, I saw myself almost as a stranger might.
I saw an intelligent, capable, knowledgeable woman. Someone I would have admired. Someone I would have wanted to learn from. And then I realized something that brought me to tears.
The woman I was six years ago would have looked at the woman I am today with awe, gratitude, and pride.
She would have recognized the woman who helped carry us through the hardest years. The protector. The warrior. The woman who kept rising.
For so long, I had measured myself against everything I hadn't yet accomplished. In that moment, I finally recognized everything I had become.
And I understood that the warrior I saw in my photograph wasn't there to replace the softer parts of me. She was there to make it safe for all of me to exist.
09 · The Heart of It
Why Seventh Rise Matters to Me
Seventh Rise is more than the name of my practice. It is a philosophy I have lived.
It represents the courage to begin again when the future is uncertain. The willingness to question old patterns. The discovery that strength and tenderness can exist together. And the possibility of finding greater harmony within ourselves as we continue to grow.
My journey has taken me through motherhood, adversity, education, personal transformation, and an evolving understanding of the work I feel called to do.
I don't believe my story is finished. In many ways, I feel I'm only beginning to discover what this next chapter may hold. But I know why I chose the name. And I know why I continue to choose it.
Because sometimes the most extraordinary transformation isn't becoming someone new. It's finally recognizing, reclaiming, and bringing into harmony the person who has been within you all along.
That is the heart of Seventh Rise. And it is the spirit I bring to the work I do with others.
